Hiep Hong is a professional aquascaper living in Houston,TX. He has competed in several online and live aquascape competitions, winning several podium finishes in the United States and Europe over the years. His most notable achievement was his #4 ranking in the IAPLC in 2018, making him the first American aquascaper to place in the top 10 in the history of the contest. He also won the New Jersey Aquashella Aquascaping Contest. Recently, his focus is to inspire and educate new hobbyists through various forms of aquarium related art, photography, and even venturing into a more abstract scaping style.

Each regular SAS meeting begins with a guest speaker presentation, followed by our monthly auction. We also hold a raffle for gift cards from local stores and have a sales table with club merchandise and fish bagging supplies available for members and guests.
