April Meeting - Splash Sacramento & Auction

Each regular SAS meeting begins with a guest speaker presentation, followed by our monthly auction. We also hold a raffle for gift cards from local stores and have a sales table with club merchandise and fish bagging supplies available for members and guests.

At this meeting we will have a presentation from Mackenzie Wieser, CEO of Sacramento Splash. Sacramento Splash is a local nonprofit that helps people of all ages explore and understand the unique vernal pool ecosystems of the Sacramento region. We invited them to speak because the Sacramento Aquarium Society donated a portion of its 2024 profits to support their work. Sacramento Splash will also organize the field trip for the AGA 2026 Convention, which is coming up later in April.
